How do you prepare the product?
We recommend drinking The Mushroom Latte first thing in the morning. If you're still drinking coffee – that's cool – but drink Everyday Dose BEFORE your coffee.
Here's how to prepare it:
- Scoop the powder into a cup/dose mug.
- Add your favorite milk (vegan alternatives like Oatly are super yummy great). PRO TIP: first add in a lil water to cover the powder, mix, then add in your preferred milk.
- Stir.
- Feel elevated.
It's that simple.
Can I just use water?
You can definitely just use water. It's actually great that way as well! Some people do that and just a splash of milk. Whatever your pleasure is! If you do use just water, we recommend using a frother to make it super creamy.
Can I add sugar?
Sugar causes crashes so if you do I recommend honey or coconut sugar. NEVER refined sugar – please! If you want that sugar kick try Oatly Oat Milk.
Can I use other liquids other than milk?
Yes of course! Whatever your pleasure is! PRO TIP: We recommend a little hot water first to mix the powder with the water. Stir. Then add whatever you want to add. You can also add it to smoothies!
Can I mix this with my normal coffee?
We would really recommend that you do not mix this with your coffee and instead have it on its own so you are not drinking too much caffeine and you are slowly reducing your coffee intake.
If you really want that extra coffee kick try adding in a shot of espresso to the dose. This has less caffeine and will give you that flavor (and kick!) you might be looking for.
Can you drink it anytime?
You can drink it whenever you feel like it, but we recommend it to drink The Mushroom Latte first thing in the morning.
How many servings should I drink per day? Can I have more than one?
Yes, you can absolutely drink more than one, two servings of Everyday Dose is still less caffeine than a normal cup of coffee so drinking more than one Dose just means you get more mushrooms, more nootropics and more collagen
What does it taste like?
It tastes like a very light, creamy, non-acidic coffee with chocolate notes.
Does it taste like mushrooms?
Not at all! We use a low-acidity cold brew coffee extract with 80% less caffeine than normal coffee. It covers up the taste of mushrooms completely and tastes like cold brew coffee. We recommend drinking it iced.
What are the ingredients

Are these magic mushrooms? Does it contain psilocybin? Will this make me trip?
No, while we love those kinds, this is legal, functional, 100% pure, organic, fruiting body mushrooms (lion's mane + chaga) and you are not going to see the spirits of your ancestors. Lots of amazing benefits to both! So they are not psychedelic and they don’t contain psilocybin.
How much of each mushrooms is in one serving
1.5 grams of 100% pure, organic, fruiting body mushrooms combined (roughly 50% chaga and 50% lions-mane)
How many mg of each ingredient?
We have 1.5g of mushrooms, roughly 50% Chaga and 50% Lion's Mane, 0.35mg of organic coffee extract, collagen is 4g and l-theanine is 150mg
How much caffeine is in this?
A single serving of Everyday Dose only contains 1/5th the caffeine of a normal 12oz coffee, just 39mg (less than a matcha!)
How many calories per serving?
Per serving cal count = 20cal
Does this break a fast
It's only 20 cals. Depending on your theory, as long as you are under 50 cal you won't break your fast. Some people drink Dose black, which will keep the calories low too!
Where do you source your ingredients from?
Our coffee is sourced from Mexico. Collagen is from Brazil, Mushrooms are from China , and L-Theanine is from Japan
What are your mushrooms grown on?
For the Lion's Mane we use sawdust. For Chaga it's wild harvested. Both are 100% fruiting body and both mushrooms go through a double extraction process. The hot water extraction pulls out the beta glucans and helps make it bioavailable. The alcohol extraction pulls out the triterpenes, triterpenoids and sterols. This is what makes functional mushrooms magical and so powerful for our bodies.
What country are the mushrooms sourced from?
We work with the best mushroom supplier named NAMMEX. They're 100% organic, fruiting body extracts that are dually extracted!
Where is it produced/where does it ship from?
Our product is produced in one of the top nutraceutical facilities outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. Utah is home to some of the best manufacturing facilities in the world.
We ship from two locations depending on where you’re ordering from to get you your package as fast as possible and create that amazon-esque, free shipping experience.
So say you are ordering from say New York we will ship from our East Coast warehouse. If you order from LA we will ship from our West Coast warehouse.

Why only lions mane and chaga?
Think of a multivitamin where there's a lot of everything and not enough of anything. Everyday Dose focuses on the brain and body (Lion's Mane + Chaga) to give you a complete Dose 1.5grams of dually extracted fruiting body mushrooms.
Yes, there might be brands that lists out more mushrooms on their label, but there's not enough of anything to be clinically-proven as efficacious. We provide a curated formula with limited amounts of high quality, certified-organic, 100% fruiting body extracts working together to provide real, substantial benefits you can actually feel.
What is the difference between mycellium and fruiting Body mushrooms?
Mycellium, AKA Myceliated grain, is very different than actual fruiting body mushrooms, the part that grows out and that you normally see in pictures. Not all fungi products are equal. Mushroom extracts and supplements generally contain EITHER the fruiting body OR mycelium on grain.
There are a lot of terms kicking around that you may or may not be familiar with as it pertains to mushrooms therapy. Here are the big three:
- Spore – the “seed” of a mushroom
- Mycelium – the roots of a mushroom
- Fruiting body – the mushroom itself
Mushrooms and mycelium are different. Many manufacturers sell the dried powder mycelium-grain mix as mushrooms. Myceliated grain, as the mix is called, is mostly grain. That means a mushroom product that is using myceliated grain instead of mushrooms is mostly filler, leading to high amounts of starch in the final product.

Do you test for mold, heavy metals and mycotoxins?
Yes we test for mycotoxins, heavy metals and molds. In addition, our mushrooms have been tested for high level of beta glucans, which is the most research active compound in mushrooms for medicinal benefits🍄
Can I drink this while breastfeeding\pregnant?
Many of our customers use Everyday Dose while they're breastfeeding or pregnant, because their own doctors approved our five clean ingredients: Lion's Mane, Chaga, Collagen, L-Theanine and Coffee Extract. That said, this is not medical advice and you should always consult your own
personal doctor ❤️
Who is this product for?
This is for people looking to feel more mental clarity, boost their mood, get better beauty sleep and boost immunity.
There IS a hint of organic, fair-trade coffee extract to mask the flavor of the 1.5 grams of 100% pure, organic, fruiting body mushrooms (lion’s mane + chaga) and so people who love coffee don't feel like they're giving it up. Also for people like me, I love the taste of coffee but not the way it makes me feel...now I can enjoy it.
Are you kosher?
We only use kosher ingredients, but we are not kosher certified yet.
Is this vegan?
No, it's not vegan. We include collagen in our formula and unfortunately true collagen is not vegan. There is no such thing. We choose grass-fed and grass-finished collagen because it has an incredible amino acid profile.
Are you planning on doing a vegan version?
We are looking into it! Hope to have you as a customer when we do!
Is the collagen vegan?
No. It’s very normal for people to be misled by brands thinking there is such a thing as vegan collagen. Unfortunately, collagen promoting ingredients aren’t top notch compared to the amino acid profile of grass-fed and grass-finished collagen that we use.
Can you drink this if you’re on blood pressure meds?
If you are able to have coffee or collagen then this should also be fine as well, but always consult your doctor before.
Does this increase my heart rate?
With 39mg of caffeine it is very unlikely that you experience a noticeable increase in heart rate because of the small amount of caffeine and combination of mushrooms and nootropics. That said, everyone's bodies are different.
I drink lots of caffeine, should I drink this?
Since you do consume a lot of caffeine I would first try Everyday Dose on its own in the morning, then maybe another in the afternoon (I take two because I love the feeling). BUT if you need that strong coffee flavor you can always add a shot of espresso which has less caffeine than a cup of coffee but might trick your mind into thinking you are consuming way more caffeine than you are. A lot of people do one dose in the morning and then another in the afternoon with a shot of espresso. I really do hope we can help reduce your intake so you can live a much healthier life.
I have ADD / ADHD can this help me?
Jack, our founder, was also on all sorts of ADHD meds – for 20 years! Lion's Mane, Chaga and L-Theanine are going to really help with this and will keep you more calm and focused, but it's not going to be the "cure" so to speak. It's definitely a big step in the right direction!
Can I take this while on anti-depressants?
There is no serotonin added to our products nor are there any studies that have found adverse reactions with SSRIs and any of the ingredients in Everyday Dose. There are, however, studies that show therapeutic benefits of lion's mane and mushrooms for depression.

How are you different from Mudwater?
- MUD does NOT extract their "mushrooms". Our 100% certified-organic fruiting body mushroom extracts go through a double extraction process. The *hot water extraction* to pull out the beta glucans and make them bioavailable – the most researched active compound in functional mushrooms – as well as an *alcohol extraction* to pull out the triterpenes, triterpenoids and sterols). This is a more expensive process, which is why most companies don't do this.
- Mud grows their mushrooms on oats and then blends the oat cake substrate and puts it in their formula and calls this mushrooms.
Many companies, including MUD, don't like to point this out so you'll see that they hide this on their site except when you flip over the label. If you read the MUDWTR label you’ll see that it says “mycelial biomass oats”...hidden in the back. This literally means they grow mycelium on oats, then take this big large mound of oat, throw it into a grinder/shredder and then call this mushrooms. We feel this is extremely misleading...especially with Chaga...Chaga should only be coming from birch trees. Chaga is pulling nutrients from the tree to grow and thrive. When you grow this on an oat "cake" in a lab this absolutely does not have the same nutritional benefits.
- More ≠ Better. Ingredients in any functional formula should be curated with intention and specificity to maximize bioavailability and benefits of the body. Yes, MUD lists out more mushrooms on their label, but there's not enough of anything to be clinically-proven as efficacious. We provide a curated formula with limited amounts of high quality, certified-organic, 100% fruiting body extracts working together to provide real, substantial benefits you can actually feel.
- MUD is Chai-based and Everyday Dose has just a hint of low caffeine and low acidic coffee
- MUD is vegan and Everyday Dose has grass-fed and grass-finished collagen (incredible amino acid profile) that helps support hair, nails, joints and even supports gut health.

- We have 39mg of caffeine they have 50mg.
“Just drink coffee” \ Why not just drink coffee?
Traditional coffee contains 100+ mg of caffeine and high acidity, which can cause sleep problems, anxiety, and gut/digestion problems, especially after years of daily consumption. We have found that people who normally have problems with coffee do not have any issues with Everyday Dose. Why? We use an optimal dose of caffeine (39mg) from a hint of organic, fair-trade coffee extract for flavor to deliver the medicine underneath. Food can be medicine.

Is your packaging recyclable?
Our bags are made out of combo PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and a PLA which is made up of a combo of field corn and wheat straw, our product bags are also made of recycled plastic.
Are there any consequences of stopping taking the product?
No there are not. Just will not get the functional benefits, such as improved memory, cognition,focus, improved skin and hair. Dose will help support all these things but will ultimately go back to what you're predisposed to if you stop.
Can we put the mug in the microwave?
Neverrrrrrrrr...these are double insulated mugs with metal to keep your beverage warm. Do not microwave anything with metal in it 😉
What is the mug made out of?
Our awesome mug is double insulated stainless steel ✨ This will help keep your Dose nice and warm, or icy cold for hours! This also means that it's not the best idea to microwave it unless you're looking for some spark and a new microwave.
